Logo for NYC | Branding 2007
In 2007, while still working at Descrippes Gobé (d/g*) in NY, the Governor's office wanted to brand the city like a company. One logo to unite the diverse nature of the great city. My concept focused on how New York can appear to be very rigid and systematic on the surface, yet somehow still remain a very thriving creative culture that is highly adaptive and organic. The logo is a dynamic square, shiny on the outside neon and beaming from below.
