Quik / Roxy Concept Store | Graphic Language 2009
Shortly after finishing the Horny Zine I was asked to develop a graphic language for Quik's new concept store in Miami. The idea behind the store was driven by the DIY spirit and very lo–fi methods of making and altering clothes and product. The identity simply states this with a swatch of fabric and lettering by Quiksilver's Creative Director, Natas Kaupas. Under the art direction of Scott Richards & Jim Poore, I also developed the look and feel of the interior of the stores, including wall graphics and hand glassed table tops. Photos and glassing by Gavin Schuck. Ideas for hand painted boards was also on the list of things to do, but never produced.
